D.IVA scarf
began as “a scarf with a zipper”. Today, some call it “art”. Yet D.IVA scarves have always been handcrafted combinations of carefully selected materials and colours. In the beginning, these followed grey shades of bought zippers, today zippers of all colours are ordered and fabricated in Slovenia, EU for D.IVA scarves.
Zipper is the scarf’s special feature, yet its soul is in combinations of colours and materials. These give the personality to each of the scarves and it is no coincidence that my inspiration is gathered in personalities of people.
D.IVA
I am Daliborka Ivanišin and the brand D.IVA is “in my nature”. I love fashion and I love being dressed in it. I started sewing in my thirties and by that extended my passion for combining materials and colours.
With this I was able to design by my own, I cut, I sew, I added and I took away where, what, and as much as I wanted. In this fusion of inspiration, never ending sewing “sessions”, and learning from reactions of my customers I created a colourful scarf with a zipper that today sells as the D.IVA scarf.
